2023 Vera Gross Lecture - Dr. Michael Milham

Dr. Michael Milham MD, PhD, delivered the Vera Gross Lecture on the Multimodal Characterization of Brain and Behavior - The Last Missing Ingredient for Precision Neuropsychiatry. This lecture was held in conjunction with the annual assembly of the Global Brain Consortium on March 22, 2023. Dr. Milham is an internationally recognized neuroscience researcher and the Vice-President of the Child Mind Institute in New York City. He is the founding director of its Center for the Developing Brain and a practicing child and adolescent psychiatrist. Dr. Milham’s research interests include investigating how functional and structural connectivity in the brain may underlie differing forms of mental illness, and seeking to chart the course of brain development in healthy and affected children. 2023 Annual Meeting

This event highlighted the achievements of 2022, and introduced new projects in 2023 with inspirational presentations by outstanding researchers. INCF Assembly 2022

The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) was held on September 12th to 16th, 2022. There were two symposia organized by the GBC - GBC's EEG normative initiative for creating standards for MEEG analysis and EEG, the interface between neuroinformatics and clinical/basic science research. ICCN 2022 Geneva

The International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN) was held on September 4th to 8th, 2022. There were two symposia organized by the GBC-OHBM-IFCN. The first symposia was Quantitative Neuroimaging of Public Health problems, Examples from Latin America, chaired by Jorge Bosch-Bayard (Montreal Neurological Institute).
